About Our Classes
How Our Classes Work:
The Christian Folk School encourages connection, family, and community. One of the ways we develop this is through our class model. We do not offer a drop off program for our classes, but rather, ask that parents and family stay to watch, observe, and participate. Only the children who are actually participating need to be registered and paid for, but parents and siblings can stay, play, and watch. This allows parents and siblings to connect with one another while on site, as well as be active in the learning of the child registered for the class.
Who Should You Register?
Any child that is actively participating in the class needs to be registered. In many cases, we will have multiple grade learning, which will also consist of an age range, for instance, 8-12. If your child is in that bracket and will be an active student in the class you need to register them.
My child is not in the suggested age range; can I still register them?
All children are different and at different learning levels. If you believe a class is appropriate for your child’s learning level, please reach out to us and we can help see if it’s a good fit. Sometime the age range is a requirement placed by our instructors and something we have to abide by for their regulations, but we are always willing to see where we can make it work for you and your family.
Where Are The Classes Held?
We work with numerous professionals who offer amazing classes from the South end of the Springs up to Moment, over to Black Forest, down to Peyton and Falcon, and everywhere in between! We also offer some of our special events I various locations such as Woodland Park.
