Make and Take: Mullein Torches

In Greek mythology, Ulysses used mullein to protect himself from the enchantress Circe.

During the Middle Ages, the torches were believed to ward off demons and evil spirits. 

Historically, Roman soldier used mullein as slow burning torches.

In this class, students will learn the history of mullein torches and how they have been used for centuries! Students will then learn how to make their very own mullein torch that they can take home to play with on their hero adventures, or just hold onto as a keepsake!
